Main Purpose of Job
This position delivers behavioral health outreach and prevention activities including the delivery of the overdose response program (ORP) training and naloxone distribution. This position schedules and conducts behavioral health prevention presentations and events.
Frequent evenings and weekend hours for outreach and prevention events as well as special events and emergencies.
This position is eligible for hybrid telework.
POSITION DUTIES
30% Assure Oversight of the Overdose Response Program (ORP) including naloxone training and distribution.
30% Conduct and schedule community behavioral health outreach prevention presentations and attend / support outreach events.
25% Overdose Misuse Prevention Program (OMPP) strategies and events.
10% Track and report all data
5% Other Duties :
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education : Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience : One year of professional experience in assisting in the coordination of a health-related program(s) or referring people to governmental and private resources.
Notes :
1. Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university for the required experience.
2. Candidates may substitute Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Health Care Administration classifications or Civil Affairs Specialist specialty codes in the health-related field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience and education.
