Container Repair Welder (Opa Locka FL)

Waste Connections , Inc. has immediate openings for a high energy Welder to join the team at our Hialeah Campus location in Miami FL. Previous waste experience would be a huge plus !

This will be a Monday - Friday position working 5 : 30 AM - 3 : 30 PM and

Saturday as needed . Year round work. OT

Pay Rate $19 to $22.00 an hour DOE

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Perform welding and repair of trash cans in our fleet.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate and OSHA standards.
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
• Ability to effectively communicate needed repairs or tasks.
• Typical schedule is Monday-Friday, Saturday as needed.
