  • Provides courteous and friendly customer relations, including greeting customers and answering their questions.
  • Orders products as requested.
  • Prepares, handles, stocks, or stores all products received.
  • Rotates all merchandise according to code dating policies.
  • Applies proper stocking techniques to ensure proper location on the shelf, in saleable condition, and within the stocking guidelines established.
  • Keeps the department fixtures, equipment, and area free from accident hazards at all times.
  • Handles all store property and equipment in such a manner as to provide safe use.
  • Maintains housekeeping functions (shelves and loose cardboard disposal).
  • Assists in display building as directed.
  • Works back stock from back room.
  • Operate ordering equipment.
  • Operate pallet jacks and hydraulic baler.
  • Run register and assist front-end operations as requested.
  • Unload trucks.
  • Monitor the temperature of refrigerated cases.
  • Operate telephones and intercoms and practice proper telephone etiquette.
  • Follows all policies as outlined in the employee handbook.
