The Opportunity :

AMN is honored to partner with Hebrew SeniorLife (HSL) in the recruitment of a new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). A national executive search is underway, as the current CFO plans to retire in September 2024. This is an amazing opportunity for a senior financial executive to serve as a member of a high performing, dynamic executive leadership team within an outstanding organization at a key time in its history, and to impact the future of this vibrant healthcare and senior living organization and the communities it serves. The Position :

• The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of Hebrew SeniorLife’s leadership team and reports directly to the President / CEO, Dr. Steven Landers. The CFO is responsible for the development, interpretation, coordination, and administration of HSL’s policies for financial management, including planning, budgeting, capital formation, risk management, and operations.
• The CFO directs HSL’s strategic and operational financial planning, budgeting process, accounting and finance practices, financial risk assessment, forecasting and variance analysis; and is in charge of formulating, negotiating and executing parent and project level bond and bank financing, as well as any acquisitions, partnering or merger events. In this role the CFO works closely with the organization’s investment bankers, capital sources and outside attorneys in addition to HSL personnel.
• The CFO leads the development and implementation of financial reporting and analysis, ensuring that policies and procedures are consistent and in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and in compliance with all regulatory requirements. He / she delivers timely, accurate, and reliable financial information to decision makers through efficient and effective financial systems and business processes, fosters effective stewardship of the finance function, and safeguards fiscal integrity through effective internal controls.
