Summary

Being a Procurement Intern at Simplot is a dynamic position, helping our team develop new tools and systems. As an intern, you’ll get to work with existing data systems and processes and discover new ways to innovate them. This is a full-time, summer-long internship at our HQ in Boise, ID. Candidates will have the opportunity to work closely with senior level category managers and procurement experts, as they learn to become a successful analyst, manager, and leader. Every intern will get to build their own project, focusing on any system they identify being ripe for improvement using their college education.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and managing business intelligence solutions for the organization
• Analyzing business requirements and processes and recommending them to the management and executives for implementation
• Creating and managing projects to improve procurement systems.
• Managing and sourcing supplier contracts.

Typical Education

Must be currently enrolled in a college / university pursing a Bachelor’s degree, MBA or other Business Master's degree in one of the following degree paths : Supply Chain Management
