Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing for our Surgical Services department. As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, strategic planning, and performance of our surgical services. You will collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care in a compassionate and efficient manner.

Responsibilities :

• Provide leadership and direction to the surgical services department, including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative areas.
• Develop and implement strategic plans, policies, and procedures to optimize patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and staff productivity.
• Foster a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and patient-centered care throughout the surgical services department.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other stakeholders to develop and implement best practices and protocols.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, quality measures, and accreditation requirements.
• Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate nursing staff to maintain a competent and engaged team.
• Monitor and manage the department budget, including resource allocation and cost control.
• Promote effective communication and collaboration among interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care coordination.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with physicians, staff, and other key stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in surgical services to drive innovation and enhance patient care.
