Job Description :

Apex Systems is looking to hire a Structural Designer to join one of our top clients. This role will be almost 100% remote, with very rare need to go onsite in Birmingham, AL (once or twice per quarter). This is a long-term, 3 year contract role that is highly likely to convert permanent during that duration.

Job Responsibilities :

• Producing design / fabrication drawings for structural steel, reinforced concrete, and conceptual designs.
• Reviewing vendor shop fabrication drawings, and preparing material takeoffs.
• Supporting the structural design of transmission and distribution substations across APC and MPC
• Creating / modifying design drawings for structural steel and reinforced concrete for substation builds
