Role Overview The Senior Estimator is responsible for reviewing bid documents, performing accurate steel takeoffs, identifying project requirements, and preparing complete proposal packages.
- This role ensures bid clarity, evaluates special conditions, and supports pricing accuracy for both initial bids and change orders.
- Occasional job walks may be required.

This position will relocate to Wittmann, AZ within the next two years.Applicants must be willing to make that commute when the time comes. Key Responsibilities Review bid drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine scope Identify and clarify ambiguities with clients Complete detailed structural steel takeoffs Review project-specific conditions (access, specs, special requirements) Prepare bid inclusions, exclusions, and notes Attend job walks when required Review revised drawings and price change orders Participate in end-of-project closeout meetings for feedback and improvement Qualifications 3–5 years of structural steel estimating experience.Must be steel, must be estimating Proficiency reading architectural and structural drawings Strong Excel, Outlook, and general computer skills Experience with Tekla EPM / Tekla Structures (highly beneficial) Experience with Bluebeam or similar takeoff software Skills & Abilities High attention to detail, accuracy, and document control Clear written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal oversight Strong organization and time-management abilities Proactive, reliable, and able to meet deadlines Comfort working in a fast-paced environment Schedule Office hours are 7am - 5pm Monday thru Thursday. 7am - 11am on Fridays. (Half days dependent upon completion of work and deadlines) Compensation & Benefits Salary :
