job_description.job_card.job_descriptionManage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines, quality, and budget goals are met. Drive new product development, incorporating structural, mechanical, and electrical design. Develop innovative design concepts and refine existing product designs. Maintain and create bills of materials (BOMs), routings, and production time estimates. Source parts through new and existing supply chains. Collaborate with factory staff, vendors, and customers to ensure project success. Assist with costing of new products and manage special projects as assigned. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field, OR equivalent expertise in mechanical system design. At least 5 years of design and / or manufacturing experience. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and bills of materials. Basic understanding of low- and medium-voltage electrical system design. Proven ability to manage multiple projects under pressure and deliver results. Strong communication skills to effectively interface with factory staff, sales teams, vendors, and customers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with working knowledge of Microsoft Access. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Inventor, or other 3D modeling software. Strong technical writing skills. 2+ years of experience managing design projects from inception to completion. Experience with AC motor control systems, including Variable Frequency Drives, transducers, and motor starters. Visual Basic for Applications or PLC programming experience. Advanced knowledge of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems. Product design experience, with an emphasis on sheet metal components. Competitive salary and benefits package. Job Description
We are seeking an energetic, outgoing, and dynamic Product Design Engineer to join our team. This is a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves role, ideal for someone with a positive, can-do attitude and a creative approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of design and / or manufacturing experience and a passion for developing innovative products from concept to completion.
