🌟 Perm Sonographer - General (Days) | $42 / hr | Virginia Beach, VA

🔹 Schedule : Days | Mon–Fri | 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM

🔹 Shift Details : Day shift + occasional weekends / on-call (discussed at interview)

🔹 Employment Type : Permanent

🔹 Pay Rate : $42 / hr

🔹 Location : Virginia Beach, VA

👩‍⚕️ Position Overview

Provide mobile ultrasound services across a wide range of patient settings – including nursing homes , home care , and correctional facilities . You’ll drive to various sites (company vehicle provided), perform technically sound ultrasound exams, and send images to a radiologist for interpretation.

✅ Candidate Requirements

🔸 Certifications : ARDMS or CCI (Echo / Vascular required)

🔸 Education : Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program

🔸 License : Valid driver’s license required

🔸 Experience : General, Echo / Vascular preferred

🔸 COVID-19 Vaccination or valid exemption

🔸 Must be able to operate a smartphone and basic computer systems

💼 Key Responsibilities

Travel to patient sites in a company vehicle

Perform and process high-quality ultrasound exams

Follow strict identification and exam validation procedures

Communicate effectively with clients, dispatch, and clinical teams

Maintain and care for mobile ultrasound equipment

Work independently with minimal supervision

Provide mentorship to new techs as needed
