Project Controls Lead

We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Lead to manage a team of four Project Controls Analysts focused exclusively on cost control and financial reporting. This leadership role ensures accurate budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking across multiple projects, while driving process improvements and maintaining compliance with financial standards.

What you'll do :

• Lead and Develop the Team
• Supervise four cost analysts, set priorities, and ensure accuracy in all deliverables.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to build a high-performing team.
• Own Cost Management Processes
• Oversee creation and maintenance of project budgets and cost forecasts.
• Ensure accurate tracking of expenditures, commitments, and accruals.
• Review and approve variance analyses and corrective action plans.
• Ensure Financial Accuracy and Compliance
• Validate month-end close processes and accrual entries.
• Apply accounting principles (debits / credits, general ledger) to maintain compliance.
• Coordinate with finance and project managers to align cost data with corporate standards.
• Deliver Reporting and Insights
• Prepare and present cost performance reports to stakeholders.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through detailed financial analysis.
• Support audits and maintain documentation for compliance.
• Drive Process Improvements
• Implement best practices for cost control and reporting.
• Standardize workflows and leverage automation to improve efficiency.
