Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Test Technician to join our team in Norman, United States. As a Test Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through rigorous testing procedures and data analysis.
- Conduct comprehensive tests on various products, components, and systems to evaluate performance, functionality, and compliance with specifications
- Set up and calibrate test equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of test results
- Perform data collection, analysis, and interpretation to identify trends, anomalies, or potential issues
- Prepare detailed test reports and documentation, including test procedures, results, and recommendations
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues during the testing process
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve product designs and testing methodologies
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
- Assist in the development and implementation of new testing procedures and quality control measures
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in testing and quality assurance
Qualifications
2-year degree in HVAC, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be consideredProficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and test proceduresHands-on experience with various test equipment, measurement tools, and data acquisition systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisionsExperience in modifying and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systemsFamiliarity with quality control procedures and industry standardsExcellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all aspects of workStrong computer skills, including proficiency in data analysis software and Microsoft Office suiteAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentPhysical capability to lift and handle equipment, components, and materials as requiredKnowledge of safety protocols and regulations in a testing environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and collaborating with team membersAdditional Information
