Supply Chain Lead
FECON, LLC is a vegetation management equipment manufacturer located in Lebanon, Ohio near Kings Island Amusement Park. The Supply Chain Lead manages ERP data, production orders, and purchase orders. This role will maintain and create production schedules according to customer needs while maximizing effectiveness in all aspects of the Production process. This position's key objectives are :
- Balance incoming Sale's orders with existing capacity and backlog
- Distributes upcoming schedules to the team leads and supervisors
- Coordinates with our Production Team to ensure ideal coverage
- Places purchase orders for material based on MRP
- Manages the inventory turns on existing and future inventory items
Job Duties / Responsibilities :
Handle customer inquiries as neededCreate and manage production orders to ensure timeline fulfillment of customer orders and stock inventorySupport the development, implementation, and update the daily and weekly production schedulesAdds incoming sales to Master Production Schedule based on capacity and creates the corresponding job packetPlaces purchase orders for necessary raw materials and bought finished goodsProvide communication to Production team regarding existing orders, challenges, and forecastingHelp streamline reporting, production tracking, planning tools, etc.Assist in reporting weekly, monthly, and quarterly results for on-time deliveryRuns production jobs and ensures completion to meet departmental needsManages the production order process ensure timely delivery of job creation and printingComplete closure process for finished production jobs while ensuring test information is filed properlyWork with accounting to ensure purchase orders and receipt information matchesComplete / Close process for finished production jobs while ensuring test information is filed properlyCoordinate trade show & demo equipment with Marketing / Project ManagementOther responsibilities as assignedRequired Skills / Abilities :
Experience with MS Office is requiredStrong organizational insight and problem-solving abilityExcellent communication and presentation skillsEducation and Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent. A college degree is preferredExperience with MS Office is requiredThree years in a Production Planning or other manufacturing support experienceExperience in a Buy or Procurement role preferredPhysical Requirements :
