The Information Technology Specialist will administer the network (LAN / WAN) for GLITEC servers' day-to-day operations, system backups, user accounts, e-mail, and internet. Install and support LAN / WAN hardware, operating systems, and software applications. Provide network support to users to ensure customer satisfaction by providing training, monitoring systems, and resolving problems. Perform all troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose hardware and software problems. Coordinate the procurement of new computer equipment and software. Daily attendance is an essential function of this position. This position is in our Green Bay, Wisconsin office.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology Systems, or related field, with a minimum of two years of experience in information technology / systems management. Experience with a Native American Tribal organization and / or not-for-profit agency desirable. Individual must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; professional demeanor and appearance; problem solving skills; ability to manage time effectively; self-motivation skills; work effectively under pressure; ability to build positive work relationships with internal and external customers; ability to interact professionally with a wide variety of people. Individuals must be able to follow routine instructions and apply logic in the solving of various computer-related issues. Must be able to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide). Must possess a valid driver's license and / or reliable transportation with adequate insurance and ability to travel. Individuals must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; professional demeanor and appearance; problem-solving skills; ability to manage time effectively; and self-motivation skills. Individuals must be able to work effectively under pressure and build positive work relationships with internal partners. Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation with adequate insurance and the ability to travel.
