Role : Design Engineer - GDI Fuel Injectors 🚗

Join a major player in the Automotive Tier 1 replacement parts industry as a Design Engineer specializing in GDI (Gasoline Direct Injection) fuel injector systems. You will lead the design, development, and validation of cutting-edge fuel injector product lines, owning DV and PPAP readiness for upcoming GDI injector families launching in January. This critical role involves developing and correlating spray / flow test methods, managing application and design work for new programs, and collaborating closely with manufacturing, testing, and application teams to ensure on-time product launches and robust performance. Your expertise in GDI technology—whether from automotive or other industries—will drive innovation in fuel system design.

Requirements : 🎓

✅ Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required

✅ MUST HAVE GDI (Gasoline Direct Injection) experience - automotive background NOT required

✅ 5+ years of experience in fuel injector design with at least 2 years specifically in GDI systems

✅ Strong knowledge of injector internal geometry, spray pattern control, and fuel system requirements

✅ Experience with validation test planning, execution, and correlation to OEM requirements

✅ Familiarity with DFMEA, APQP, and PPAP processes for product development

✅ Proficiency in CAD software (Creo preferred) and tolerance analysis

✅ Proven ability to lead design projects from concept through PPAP and production release

✅ Strong communication skills to coordinate across engineering and manufacturing teams
