We are seeking an experienced Family Medicine Physician with a background in Geriatrics for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in California. This opportunity begins on Nov 10, 2025, and offers a Monday to Friday schedule with day shifts. The position involves outpatient care for patients of all ages in busy, intergenerational primary care settings, serving a predominantly Spanish-speaking population, though Spanish fluency is not required.

  • Schedule : Monday to Friday, 7 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM; includes 1-2 days in an outpatient health center and 3-4 days in an adult clinic

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide full scope Family Medicine coverage for outpatient intergenerational health centers
  • Deliver primary care services to patients of all ages, including wellness checks and physicals
  • Manage common conditions such as cold, cough, and flu
  • Serve a diverse patient population, with a high proportion of Spanish-speaking individuals
  • Collaborate with dental and dermatology services within the facility
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Athenahealth EMR
  • Adhere to facility protocols and quality standards

    • Additional Information

  • Active California medical license required
  • Board certification in Family Medicine required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a physician preferred
  • Spanish speaking ability preferred but not required
  • Commitment to the full contract duration is necessary
