Excellent communication skills and the ability to present to diverse audiences, including investors and scientific communities. Willingness to travel 20%-30%.

BioPhase is a leading provider of talent solutions in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors, specializing in clinical development and research roles. We are currently seeking a strategic and experienced Director / Executive Director of Clinical Development to join our team in San Diego.
Role Overview
As the Director / Executive Director of Clinical Development, you will be a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for driving the clinical development strategy for BioPhase’s portfolio. This role involves overseeing all aspects of clinical development, including strategy formulation, execution of clinical trials, and collaboration with key stakeholders such as principal investigators, consultants, and pharmaceutical partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of clinical strategies and plans for ongoing and pipeline programs.
- Provide strategic direction across clinical operations, clinical science, medical monitoring, and regulatory affairs.
- Oversee clinical trial design and execution to ensure compelling safety, efficacy, and pharmacokinetic data.
- Manage relationships with principal investigators, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and external collaborators.
- Coordinate and implement collaborative studies and regulatory activities with pharmaceutical and academic partners.
- Ensure the recruitment, retention, and growth of a high-performing clinical development team.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and relevant therapeutic developments.
- Act as a liaison for BioPhase with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, investors, and medical communities.
