CVD Maintenance Technician

Key Challenges :

• Able to diagnose equipment alarms read operational data and create action plans as needed.
• Able to work in a high-volume manufacturing environment and sustain equipment with minimal direction.
• Able to use root-cause problem-solving techniques to solve complex problems on Semiconductor toolsets.

Cross-functional aspects :

• Able to work in a cross-functional team as needed including associates.

Job Qualifications :

• AA AS AAS in electronics or other mechanical discipline is preferred. Education along with experience or military training may satisfy formal education requirements.
• The desired candidate will be required to effectively communicate using written and verbal skills stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours) and be physically able to perform required tasks which may include stooping crawling in confined spaces and lift / carry objects up to 50 pounds.
• Experience working in a clean room environment and the ability to follow all proper cleanroom protocols.
• Preferred to be 5S certified but knowledge of the program is required.
• Knowledge of 6 Sigma Lean Manufacturing preferred.
• The technician position is responsible for effectively executing tasks that are required to maintain Chandler Fab CVD toolsets including the following :

AMAT Centura 5200 (SACVD DXZ and HDP Ultima)

AMAT P5000

AMAT Producer

Novellus Concept 2 STI

Watkins Johnson 999

Rigaku XRF 3650

Edwards Abatement (Atlas TCS TPU and TCS)
