About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Information Technology to lead and oversee all aspects of IT within the organization. This includes the design, development, implementation, and support of IT infrastructure, as well as managing the IT budget, maintaining cybersecurity programs, and ensuring that IT is aligned with business objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong business relationships, managing 3rd party vendors, and leading a team of IT staff. Strategic planning, project management, and the ability to provide technical and functional leadership are essential for this role. Applicants for the Vice President of Information Technology position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science, with a minimum of 15 years' experience in the field, and at least 6 years in a management role. An advanced degree and global mining experience are preferred. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in IT strategic planning, budget management, and experience with ERP implementation. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are a must, as is the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will also have a strong knowledge of cloud computing, cybersecurity, ERP systems, and data analytics, and be adept at managing IT budgets to drive cost-effective solutions.
