Purpose Statement

The operator is responsible for setting up and changing equipment based upon product need while adhering to all food safety and food quality guidelines.

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes

all safety rules and regulations including use of personal protective equipment.

all established Good Manufacturing Practices including maintaining an orderly and clean work area.

be able to set up change over adjust repair and operate all machinery and equipment.

all equipment is in operating condition and ready for on time startup.

have the knowledge and experience to make necessary adjustments to keep products flowing consistently.

process control and quality checks.

date coders and verifies code dates on cases.

all equipment using current sanitation practices.

Quality Assurance in obtaining samples of products and other miscellaneous duties.

for basic troubleshooting of all processing equipment.

for accurate timely and legible completion of daily production reports / documents.

new associates.

any other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Knowledge Skills and Experience

have good communication skills both written and verbal

School Diploma or GED required

be able to take direction and follow instructions

a positive and respectful attitude; cooperate with co-workers management internal and external customers as applicable

year experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment

to high degree of judgment required

good attendance and punctuality. Follow established work schedule.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT :

physical health and ability to manage work in a high energy environment.

be able to regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and or move 50 pounds.

COMPENSATION

In accordance with state law the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation its subsidiaries and affiliates (Richs) reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience knowledge skills abilities shift differential and location.

Annual Range / Hourly Rate

$19.01-$19.01
