Project Architect Specification Writer

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Project Architect / Specification Writer to join our diverse and creative team. This role combines leadership in the technical components of project delivery with responsibility for preparing coordinating and maintaining high-quality specifications and project manuals. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in accuracy consistency and enjoy creating high quality technical work.

Responsibilities :

• Participate in the preparation and editing of architectural specifications and project manuals for complex building types.
• Coordinate all Project Manual components with internal disciplines and external consultants to ensure consistency and technical accuracy.
• Review drawings for quality control and alignment with specifications; provide specification support throughout the design process and construction administration.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to execute project workplans and technical deliverables.
• Coordinate with project teams in defining project scope budget schedule performance criteria and quality standards.
• Ensure projects are completed on time within budget and to the satisfaction of clients.
• Identify and mitigate risks that may affect project schedules budgets or design quality.
• Ensure compliance with building codes zoning regulations and industry standards.
• Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients contractors consultants and other stakeholders.
• Mentor junior project architects and emerging professionals.
• Dependable responsible and hardworking individual.
