Software Engineer – Simulation & Analysis

Location : Huntsville, AL (On-site)

Clearance : Active Secret required

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) from an accredited university.

2+ years of professional experience (0 years with Master’s).

Demonstrated proficiency in C++ development.

Experience with Unit Test and System Test development.

Experience with one or more of the following languages : C, GoLang, ADA, and / or Python.

Ability to understand and read other coding languages.

Must possess an active Secret clearance .

Must be able to work on-site in an office environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with simulation and modeling frameworks.

Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket.

Experience with Bamboo, Jenkins, Fortify, Coverity, SQL Databases.

Experience with containerization and container development environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

The selected Software Engineer will support ongoing DSI programs related to simulation development and analysis tools within a defense environment.

Responsibilities include :

Developing, testing, and integrating software products that enhance system design, analysis, and operational modeling capabilities.

Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, including engineers and analysts of varying experience levels.

Supporting internal tool development and process improvement initiatives.

Contributing to technical documentation, design discussions, and integration reviews.

Additional Information

Must be capable of critical thinking and clearly conveying technical concepts through documentation and presentations.

Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.
