Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Refrigeration Mechanic / Technician to help with repairs and maintenance on trailer / tractor reefer equipment at our fleet shop in McCook, IL.
Shift : Full-Time l 3rd Shift -Wednesday-Saturday 10 : 00PM-8 : 30AM OFF Sunday-Tuesday!
Pay : Starts at $34.00-$36.00 / HR plus additional shift differential pay (Based on experience / qualifications)
CDL Incentive Pay-$1.00 per hour additionally with active CDL license

Position Responsibilities :
Diagnose, overhaul, adjust, and repair motor trucks and trailer equipmentTest lines, components, and connections using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic test equipmentInterpret complex schematics associated with refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, identify warrantable repairs, and document them on the repair orderRoad test vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions, provide additional support for preventative maintenance on tractor trailers, and inspect and verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to factory specificationsUse hand tools such as screwdrivers and pliers, as well as power toolsOther duties as assignedRequired Education and Experience :
High School Education or General Education Degree with 3 plus years of related experienceThe ability to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit and also regularly lift or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift or move up to 100lbsValid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehiclesMust possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement)Preferred Education and Experience :
Technical School certification
