About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Advancement to lead its experienced team and philanthropic culture. This role is pivotal in crafting the next chapter of philanthropic growth, particularly in the areas of endowment, alumnae and parent engagement, and securing resources for the future. The successful candidate will be a seasoned advancement professional, passionate about the power of education, and adept at navigating the evolving philanthropic landscape. Responsibilities include stewarding a vibrant community of supporters, leading initiatives to promote diversity, equity, access, and inclusion, and working closely with the new Head of School and the Board of Trustees to ensure the institution's continued success. Applicants for the Head of Advancement position at the company should have a proven track record in advancement and a deep commitment to the values of the institution. The role requires a leader who can not only meet the challenges of the present but also help shape the future of the school. Experience in promoting and nurturing diversity, equity, access, and inclusion is essential, and the company encourages candidates from underrepresented groups to apply. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, an excellent communicator, and a collaborative team player, capable of fostering strong relationships within the academic community and beyond. A background in education or a related field is a plus, and a graduate degree is preferred.
