Orthopaedics is ranked #1 in California and #5 in the nation . We are recruiting for an Orthopaedics faculty member specializing in trauma surgery . An ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in resident education and research.

We are seeking candidates to join our busy faculty team in the Department of Orthopaedics. CSMC is a 915-bed academic center with state-of-the-art surgical facilities and an accredited orthopaedic residency program and an accredited orthopaedic trauma fellowship.

The position will include clinical, teaching and research expectations. The strength of the program arises from a multi-disciplinary team of experts that includes more than 117 orthopaedic surgeons in the department, many of whom hold national positions of leadership. We provide the full spectrum of care with specialized expertise in joint replacement, oncology, osteoporosis, pediatric, scoliosis, adult spine, trauma, limb reconstruction, and joint preservation.

Our compensation philosophy

We offer competitive total compensation that includes pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown above takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge / skills; relevant experience and training; education / certifications / licensure; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. We also offer a comprehensive faculty benefits package.

Pay Range : $612,200 - $895,172 total cash compensation

Cedars Sinai will serve as the adviser for medical services and clinics at the LA28 games and is caring for Team USA athletes through affiliation with the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Medical Network.

Qualifications

MD or MD / PhD

Residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery and fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma

Eligibility and / or Certification by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery or its equivalent

Eligibility for an unrestricted California Medical License

Eligibility for Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Medical Staff Membership

Eligibility for appointment to the appropriate academic rank in the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Professorial Series
