Environmental Health Safety Specialist

Pride Health is seeking a Safety Specialist to join our client in Liverpool, NY 13090. The Safety Specialist will support workplace safety, compliance, and process improvement by conducting audits, training employees, and ensuring adherence to OSHA and company standards. This is a contract role with both day and night shift opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify compliance issues, risks, and improvement opportunities through daily, weekly, and monthly audits.
• Facilitate investigations and maintain all required compliance documentation.
• Enter information into internal safety databases in a timely and accurate manner.
• Perform observations, audits, and incident reviews.
• Train and assist Area Managers and team members in safety responsibilities, rules, and audit processes.
• Deliver safety-specific training as directed by management.
• Support fire prevention, hazardous waste management, and other related safety initiatives.
• Participate in process improvement activities and manage corrective actions to completion.
