job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPick up raw materials as needed; weigh in raw material when returning to processing facility. Responsible for company vehicle; keeps vehicle in clean condition. Conducts all safety checks and inspections of vehicle; operates vehicle under state, federal, local regulations and in accordance with company policy and procedures; observes all company safety rules. Attendance at all safety meetings required; may be asked to serve on Safety Committee. Responsible for completing all company required paperwork in accordance with company policies (route tickets, driver vehicle inspection reports, accident reports, mileage reports, service forms, etc). Maintain and update vehicle condition report daily. Maintain DOT log on onboard computer. All other duties as assigned. Must be 21 years of age. Valid Class A driver's license with Tanker Endorsement. Must be registered on https : / / clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov / Knowledge of safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle and general maintenance. Works well with others in a team environment. Dependable; reliable; ability to work nights and / or weekends as needed. Good math and communication skills. Constantly required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch. Occasionally lift, push, pull, or carry up to 100 lbs. Regularly required reach with hands and arms.

As a Transfer Driver for Darling Ingredients, you are responsible for operating a commercial motor vehicle to transfer raw product from our transfer station in Chatfield, MN to our processing facility in Blue Earth, MN.
- Work Schedule : Tuesday - Saturday.
- Start Time : 6 : 00am can be flexible.
- Work Hours Per Day : 8+
