POSITION SUMMARY

USA Lacrosse is looking for a Social Media Specialist to join USA Lacrosse. This individual is a passionate storyteller strategic thinker and collaborator across all departments within USA Lacrosse to grow brand awareness and reach all audiences with diversity equity and inclusion in mind. The Social Media Specialist helps shape the daily social presence of USA Lacrosse and its growing portfolio of properties including the National Teams and USA Lacrosse Magazine on the road to the LA28 Olympic Games. You will be a core player in telling the story of lacrosseits athletes its community its culture and its future. Reporting to the Director of Marketing youll ideate create and publish content that strengthens connection sparks engagement grows participation and shapes an always on brand on social across all social media channels.

Expected Hours of Work

This position is generally expected to work Monday through Friday from 8 : 30am to 5 : 00pm and occasionally requires longer hours or weekend work as related to events and other business needs. This is a hybrid position and works from the headquarters office in Sparks MD three (3) days a week with the flexibility to work from home two (2) days a week.

Compensation & Benefits Overview

The hourly pay range is $22 to $24 plus eligibility for annual incentive pay commensurate with experience.

Travel may be necessary up to 25% of the time (local regional domestic). Travel would involve the following mode(s) of travel : car train or air. Some out of area and overnight travel may be expected.
