At Beyond Karate , we offer physical training that goes beyond martial arts, with programs such as karate, workshops, and camps for families and students aged 4 through adulthood. Beyond Karate is led by Sensei Mallica Skyler Cooper , a 4th Degree Black Belt in Gojo Ryu Karate, whose mission is to create an inclusive, supportive space for students of all backgrounds and abilities. Her approach focuses not just on technique, but on nurturing the whole personbody, mind, and spirit.

Job Summary

Beyond Karate is seeking a passionate and reliable Martial Arts Instructor or Assistant to join our inclusive and empowering dojo community. This role supports our mission to deliver high-quality martial arts instruction while fostering respect, discipline, and personal growth for students of all ages and abilities.

If you're enthusiastic about martial arts and making a positive impact, this is a great opportunity.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of martial arts training (any style), be dependable, proactive, and eager to work in a collaborative and inclusive environment. On-site training and mentorship are provided.

Compensation

Starting at $18 / hour for assistant and $20 - $25 for experienced instructor, with potential increases based on experience, role, and responsibilities.
