About the Role

The Company is seeking a Tax Director with a focus on construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and managing a variety of client deliverables, including tax returns, extensions, planning, and calculations for different entity types. This role involves working closely with clients and staff to address complex job schedules, analyzing financial statements, and coordinating deliverables and due dates. The Tax Director will also be expected to lead, teach, coach, and train teams, as well as delegate projects and workload to staff.

Applicants for the Tax Director position must be CPAs with a minimum of 15 years' of experience, and a background in working with construction clients is essential. The role requires a professional who can effectively manage a high volume of work, is adept at problem-solving, and can provide strategic tax planning and compliance services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
