Job Description : Family Medicine Physician ' Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), Nebraska

We are seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Physician to join our team at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Nebraska. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse and underserved patient population while being part of a mission-driven organization committed to improving community health outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered primary care to patients of all ages, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care.
  • Conduct patient assessments, order diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, behavioral health specialists, and case managers.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to organizational goals.
  • Educate patients and families about health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
  • Adhere to FQHC policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

    • Qualifications

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine.
  • Licensed to practice medicine in Nebraska or eligibility for licensure.
  • DEA certification.
  • Commitment to serving underserved populations with cultural sensitivity and compassion.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus but not required.
