Summary of Position :

As a Structural Project Designer, supporting our Architecture and Engineering business unit, you will be responsible for designing and drafting engineering projects under the guidance of Engineers and Project Managers. Projects will be located throughout the U.S. As part of a multi-disciplined firm, you will be coordinating with Site / Civil Engineers, MEP Engineers, Architects and Construction Project Managers. You will be responsible for the production of structural engineering construction documents and calculations while adhering to client requirements, code requirements and site adjustments.

Responsibilities :

• Assist with design tasks and reports under the direction of senior staff.
• Conduct site visit investigations. Generate reports and recommendations based on findings.
• Assist in maintaining task budgets.
• Performing Structural calculations for buildings and ancillary structures.
• Drafting and Modeling of building structures in AutoCad and Revit
• Assist in coordinating the work of a multi-disciplined team throughout the design development and contract document phases of a project.
• Assist senior staff with the project approval process.

You will work with a team of Design Engineers, Professional Engineers and Project Managers.

Work Location :

This is a hybrid role based out of our Farmers Branch, TX office.
