Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in oncology care? Baton Rouge General is seeking a dedicated Nurse Manager – Oncology to lead our oncology nursing team with clinical expertise , operational insight, and a passion for patient-centered care.

What We’re Looking For

Experience :

Minimum 3 years of oncology nursing experience required

OCN certification preferred (or must be obtained shortly after hire)

Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred

Education : BSN required

Skills & Licenses :

Strong clinical judgment and team leadership

Proven ability to manage staffing, budgets, and performance improvement

Current Louisiana RN license

What You Will Do

As the Nurse Manager – Oncology, you will :

Oversee daily operations of the oncology nursing unit

Supervise and support nursing staff, including hiring, evaluations, and scheduling

Collaborate with leadership on budget planning and strategic goals

Ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements

Promote evidence-based practices and continuous quality improvement

Foster a culture of compassion, teamwork, and excellence
