Accounting Specialist (QuickBooks Online) – Flexible Schedule

About the Role :

As the Accounting Specialist, you will play a key role in managing accounts receivable functions, including cash applications and collection calls. The ideal candidate will be proficient in QuickBooks Online, highly organized, and comfortable handling a moderate daily workload. This position also offers the chance to support ongoing account clean-up, special projects, and perform bank reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage daily cash application processes, ensuring accurate and timely posting of payments

Conduct collection calls to resolve outstanding balances and maintain positive customer relationships

Perform bank reconciliations and assist with account clean-up activities

Maintain accurate records of transactions and support ongoing reconciliation efforts

Assist with special projects and year-end financial clean-up as needed

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient AR processes

Qualifications :

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Experience with accounts receivable, including cash applications and collections

Ability to manage a moderate daily workload and adapt to shifting priorities

Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently

Work Schedule & Flexibility :

Monday–Friday, 7 : 00 AM–3 : 30 PM

Remote work permitted on Fridays (office closed)

Flexible duration based on business needs

Pay Details : $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
