In this role, you will have the opportunity to :
- Develop and Execute Human Resources (HR) Strategies to support leadership in achievement of business objectives
- Provide executive level HR consultation by driving solutions for business needs
- Work collaboratively across parts of BV executive leadership and other COEs
- Provide employee relations support for the Construction organization
The role will require 25% travelling.

Key responsibilities include :
Provide executive level consultation to the Black and Veatch Construction business areaCreating and driving strategic programsImplement programs based on business needsSet strategy and executeTraining, development, and skill enhancementPerformance ManagementCulture Assessment and developmentEmployee relations & coachingIdentifies, plans, executes critical HR goalsCultivates a partnering relationship with executive level leadershipConsults and provides insights to leadersIs a change agent for implementing new HR programs, processes and / or initiativesActs as liaison between division and HR functional areas.Minimum qualifications include :
8+ years progressive HR and / or Staffing experienceWorkforce planning experience required.All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any / all of the following : criminal / civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.Preferred qualifications include :
Bachelor's degree in business-related field; Human Resources preferred;Master's degree preferredStrong knowledge of HR programs, policies and procedures understanding of Human Resource Information System(s)Experience with supporting and coaching executive level leadershipExcellent problem-solving skills (identify, analyze, research, evaluate, resolve)Ability to manage several projects of functional areas concurrentlyStrong long-term conceptual planning ability Business acumen and ability to understand business metrics and financialsExperience developing and implementing HR procedures that drive solutions for the businessHybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.
