Job Summary :

The Data Entry Specialist will support data-driven decision-making processes by providing strategic insights and analytical solutions to enhance business performance. This role involves conducting complex data analysis, developing actionable recommendations, mentoring junior analysts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities. The successful candidate will apply advanced statistical and data mining techniques to deliver insights that influence key business strategies.

Key Responsibilities :

Support business decision-making through rigorous data analysis and interpretation.

Apply advanced analytical techniques such as exploratory data analysis, regression, bootstrapping, decision trees, clustering, and survival analysis.

Develop and present strategic recommendations based on complex data findings.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to access, clean, and understand data elements.

Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.

Utilize various data mining methodologies to create analytical solutions supporting business objectives.

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts, promoting analytical excellence and best practices.

Communicate insights and findings to stakeholders through clear reports and visualizations.

Qualifications : Required :

Bachelor s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.

3 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business analytics, or a similar role.

Strong knowledge of statistical and data mining techniques (regression, clustering, etc.).

Proficiency with data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, SAS, or similar.

Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred :

Master s degree in a quantitative discipline.

Experience in financial services, mortgage, or banking environments.

Knowledge of data governance and process improvement methodologies.

Work Environment :

Onsite position : 5 days a week at Glen Allen, VA.

Standard 40-hour work week.

Collaboration with Citizens Bank s servicing administration and analytics teams.
