Lead Director Of Women's Health Equity
Enterprise Women's Health and Genomics is responsible for setting women's health and genomics / precision medicine enterprise strategy at CVS Health. This clinically grounded work aims to improve the health of our communities by focusing on addressing the disparities in health outcomes that persist across multiple demographics, including gender, race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, age, disability, etc. Through the design of equity-informed and innovative programs we are working to simplify the health care experience, make health local, and improve health outcomes.
The Lead Director of Women's Health Equity will be responsible for defining and implementing women's health focused equity interventions and performance improvement projects in collaboration with the Enterprise Health Equity team. Working with teams across the enterprise, the Lead Director assesses current programs, operations and health equity efforts to develop new solutions with the goal of embedding health equity design principles into our work and driving improvement in performance across important health equity metrics, including outcomes for underserved communities.
The role entails the facilitation of solution design with business partners to achieve measurable impact and outcomes. Significant collaboration is needed across multiple functions and business segments, such as Aetna, CVS Pharmacy, CVS Caremark and Corporate Social Responsibility. This individual will also collaborate with external partners such as non-profits, health departments, and health service vendors. Additional responsibilities include analysis and prioritization of opportunities using primary and secondary research, business case development, socialization for buy-in of initiatives, the design of a multi-year strategic roadmap, and relevant program implementation support.
The Lead Director will join a small team in Enterprise Women's Health and Genomics that will require the successful applicant to work within matrixed teams across the enterprise to drive innovation and value but also to continuously adapt as needs require. Successful candidates are proactive, creative, and nimble in their approach to enable success in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
