Description

We are seeking an Agile Communications Specialist to join our onsite team in the Washington, DC area. This position will design and deliver effective communication strategies in support of large-scale Agile initiatives. This role ensures executives, stakeholders, and delivery teams are aligned through clear, consistent, and engaging communications.

The successful candidate will combine strong communications expertise with an understanding of Agile delivery to translate complex program updates into accessible messaging and drive stakeholder engagement across the enterprise.

This role is contingent upon funding award and requires onsite presence at the USCG St. Elizabeths campus three days per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO :

• Develop and execute communication plans and strategies to support Agile program management and delivery.
• Create executive-level briefings, dashboards, newsletters, and status updates.
• Provides big picture strategic thinking in support of overall strategic communications goals.
• Partner with program managers, product owners, and delivery teams to develop and align messaging across initiatives.
• Facilitate communication cadences (PI planning updates, town halls, sprint reviews, etc.) to promote transparency.
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with executive level personnel.
• Standardize program communications with consistent language, tone, style, and branding.
• Conduct stakeholder outreach to gather stakeholder feedback and continuously improve communication effectiveness.
• Support organizational change management and Agile adoption efforts through clear messaging and communications.
