What You Will Do
Under specific direction is responsible for the sale of Johnson Controls service offerings to owners, primarily at the Director levelPromote the Johnson Controls value proposition to building owners by providing technical solutions and operational expertiseBuilds and manages long term customer relationships / partnerships with target and managed accountsResponsible for customer satisfactionPositions renewable service agreements as the foundation of managed account relationshipsPerforms the sales process to cultivate and manage long-term relationships and seeking out, qualifying and closing new sales opportunitiesObtain and close sales on a monthly basisSeeks to expand the depth and breadth of Johnson Controls offerings within an accountHow You Will Do It
With direction from the supervising manager, sells the Johnson Controls offerings persuasively, persistently and confidently to building owners at the D-level while reaching optimal profit levelsFocuses on improving the existing building to allow the building owner to achieve business objectivesManages ongoing, opportunities particularly focusing on selling services and retrofitsSells, renews and expands renewable service agreements, including multi-year agreements, to both new and existing customersBuilds partnering relationships with the owner or owner representatives responsible for the decision-making process to drive the sale of Johnson Controls service offeringsActively listens, probes and identifies concernsUnderstands the customer's business and speaks their languageWhat We Look For
Required : Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related team requiredA minimum of six (6) years of progressive field sales experienceAt least one year successfully selling HVAC or building automation system service or projectsDemonstrates a commitment to integrity and quality in businessExcellent initiative and interpersonal communications skillsDemonstrated ability to influence account decision makers at key levelsSalary Range : HIRING SALARY RANGE : $49,000- 59,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.) This role also offers a competitive Sales Incentive Plan that will take into account project, quarterly, and annual margin. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
