Our client, HCL Global Systems, is seeking a Manual QA Analyst to work in Louisville, KY. The position is long‑term full‑time.

Responsibilities

• Test Planning (10%) : Work with product owners and development teams to determine testing plans for future releases.
• Maintain library of test scripts, both manual and automated.
• Assist developers in learning what tests need to be covered by unit tests.
• Participate in project meetings, daily scrums, and product planning sessions.
• Test Execution (60%) : Independently execute manual and automated test scripts against Android tablet‑based POS and other restaurant applications.
• Conduct hands‑on testing with hardware systems that match our restaurant systems.
• Follow defect resolution from inception to production.
• Maintain a testing lab in Louisville, KY.
• Assist in managing a fleet of test devices and their test builds.
• Work with security team to validate findings of penetration and security testing.
• Report on success or failure of test script runs.
• Lab Maintenance : Maintain physical lab systems, set up, repair, replace equipment (tablets, switches, routers, monitors, PCs, etc.).
• Production Support (20%) : Act as an escalation point for customer helpdesk.
• Certify restaurant hardware.
• Act as subject matter expert on how the system services are used by other systems in the environment.
