Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant- Heart Failure

Description

Principle Responsibilities :

• Completes comprehensive patient assessments
• Determines diagnosis and treatment of illness
• Orders and interprets medical diagnostics in tandem with attending physician
• Prescribes medications, treatments, therapy and medical equipment
• Conducts patient education when working to manage chronic illness or wellness care

Required Qualifications :

Master's degree - Completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program

Preferred Qualifications :

New graduates may be considered. Prefer a minimum of 2 years experience in cardiology or ICU

Licenses / Certifications :

Master's degree completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program required

Certification as a Physician Assistant - NCCPA -National Commission Certification of Physician Assistants upon hire required or Certified Nurse Practitioner (ANCC) - American Nurse Credentialing Center or (AANP) American Association for Nurse Practitioners required upon hire

Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required upon hire (NP candidates)

Active MN & WI NP / PA license (or ability to obtain).

BLS certification required with in 180 days of hire.

Ability to obtain and / or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI).

Ability to meet criteria / qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges.

Lifting weight Up to 32 lbs. occasionally (

Pay Range

Pay Range : $55.24 to $76.43 per hourThe pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and / or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
