Ultrasound Technologist

Salary $60.00-$70.00 per Hr.

We are seeking a certified technologist to work in the Brooklyn office. The position does not require travel; you will work at the same location for your shift. No Travel positions.

Job Summary :

You must have a certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

(ARRT).

Our ideal candidates will have at least 1-3 years or more hands-on experience in one or more : Ultrasound / OB / OBGYN

Make patients feel comfortable before and during the scanning procedure, and coordinate with the patient's physician to ensure the results are received in a timely manner.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.

Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.

Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel

comfortable.

Insert IVs when necessary for the test.

Document all procedures while maintaining the confidentiality of patient

information.

Ultrasound Technologist Requirements and Qualifications :

Education in magnetic resonance imaging, radiology, or similar / a plus

Certification through the ARRT or a similar organization (preferred)

Experience in a similar technologist or radiographer role

Strong communication and patient care skills
