Summary :

The Pharmacy Tech II assists Pharmacist in providing professional pharmacy services to the patients and staff of Cook Children's Medical Center and the community we serve. Clerical tasks will encompass answering phones, recording, filing, and reporting pharmacy activities and services. The technical tasks will be performed after experience is gained, and necessary skills and competency demonstrated. Documentation of training must be on file prior to working independently. All tasks will be performed under the direct supervision of an experienced pharmacist. Competency in the following pharmacy production areas preferred :  Central PO area, Advanced Omnicell processing, and compliance audits. Must be competent in advanced sterile preparation.
