Duration : 12 Months Contract (Possible extension)

Pay Range : $90 - $95 per hour on W2

Job Summary :

This role focuses on enhancing secure application development within a cloud environment, ensuring alignment with company and federal policies while managing emerging security threats. The individual will collaborate with development teams for the creation of secure application and infrastructure designs, evaluate and improve security aspects of CI-CD pipelines, and incorporate security-focused tooling into development processes. Furthermore, the position involves mentoring and potentially assisting in recruitment activities.

Key Responsibilities :

Mature models, templates, standards, and procedures for secure application development and cloud architecture.

Consult and work collaboratively with development teams to ensure compliance with standards and manage security risks.

Review application and infrastructure designs for security effectiveness and compliance.

Evaluate and improve the security dimension of CICD pipelines and development processes.

Contribute to the secure architecture within client systems and partake in continuous learning and skills enhancement.

Must-have Skills :

Expertise in AWS Cloud environments and secure architecture design.

Proficient in threat modeling and identifying / mitigating security vulnerabilities.

Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex security topics for diverse stakeholders.

Industry Experience Required :

A minimum of 5 years in Information Security Architecture, preferably with experience in securing cloud-based environments and a strong understanding of cyber security frameworks like NIST 800-53.

Additional Requirements :

US Citizenship or Green Card holder (or on the path to citizenship) is mandatory.

Flexibility to be onsite full-time in proximity to San Francisco, Los Angeles, or Salt Lake City branches.
