Job Title : Test Instrumentation (SME)

Job Location : Albuquerque, NM

Job Description

We are seeking a Safety and Occupational Health SME to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) in planning, implementing, and overseeing safety programs during test and construction activities. This role requires deep expertise in underground safety, hazardous materials management, respiratory protection, confined space operations, and safety compliance in high-risk environments.

Must have an active and transferable DoD security clearance with current investigation at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance

Required Education / Experience :

• Active Secret security clearance; must be eligible to obtain TS / SCI.
• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience.
• Current completion of the following training / certifications :
• HAZWOPER (40-hour) – 29 CFR 1910.120
• OSHA Courses : 5qq, 7415, and 7405
• First Aid, CPR, and AED Certification (must be current)
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards, risk management practices, and safety protocols for defense or testing environments.
• Proven ability to manage and enforce safety procedures during complex, potentially hazardous operations.

Required Skills :

Develop and maintain health and safety plans for DTRA testing and construction operations.
