Position : ICU RN (Critical Care – 2nd Floor ICU)\nLocation : Grafton, WI – Level III Trauma Center | Level II NICU | Primary Stroke Center\nFacility Size : 136 beds | ICU : 17 beds\nShift Options : \n\n\nDays : 07 : 00–19 : 30\n\n\nNights : 19 : 30–07 : 00\n\n\nEvery other weekend | No on-call | 1-day orientation\n\n\nExperience : \n\n\n3+ years ICU experience required\n\n\nCRRT (NxStage) experience preferred\n\n\nFirst -time travelers accepted (with 3 yrs ICU exp)\n\n\nPatient Types : \n\n\nMedical : COVID, sepsis, ETOH, OD, delirium, stroke (TPA), ARF\n\n\nSurgical : general, ortho, ENT, OBGYN\n\n\nCardiac / Vascular : CABG, valve, post-cath, AAA, amputations\n\n\nExcludes : complex neuro / post- TNK\n\n\nRatios : \n\n\nRN : 1 : 2 (acuity-based)\n\n\nCNA : 1 : 8 days | 1 : 17 nights\n\n\nCertifications : \n\n\nRequired : BLS, ACLS\n\n\nPreferred : NIHSS\n\n\nRequired Skills : \nVent / trach management, invasive lines (A-line, CVP, Swann), drains, chest tubes, post-surgical recovery, fresh heart (preferred), CRRT, balloon pump.\nFloating : \nTo Intermediate (1 : 3), MSU, ED boarding (1 : 4), Observation (1 : 4) — travelers float first.\nSupport Staff : \n24 / 7 Intensivist & RT, Charge RN (occasional assignment), ICU Pharmacist (days), Phlebotomy, Educator, Unit Secretary (days).\nCharting & Equipment : \nEpic, Alaris, Pyxis\nOther Info : \n\n\nCOVID vaccine required\n\n\nScrubs : any color (no camo / denim / hoodies)\n\n\nFree parking\n\n\nMore than 2 sick calls may result in contract review\n\n
