YOUR ROLE :

RAPP is seeking a Senior Designer who combines exceptional design craft with a strategic mindset to elevate creative work across platforms. In this role, you will lead the execution of visually impactful designs, mentor junior designers, and collaborate with creative and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and cohesive campaigns. You will push boundaries, refine design processes, and set the standard for design excellence.

KEY COMPETENCIES :

• Comprehension : Thoughtfully interpret and refine creative briefs with a strong understanding of design strategy and objectives.
• Ideation : Lead brainstorming sessions to develop visually compelling and inclusive design concepts.
• Craft & Execution : Consistently deliver polished, high-quality designs that demonstrate mastery of typography, layout, and composition.
• Iteration & Elevation : Provide multiple, well-considered solutions to design challenges and refine work based on feedback.
• Directing & Managing : Confidently manage your workflow while mentoring junior designers to produce their best work.
• Storytelling & Selling : Present your designs to internal teams and clients with confidence, articulating the strategy behind your creative decisions.
• Business Contribution : Approach design challenges with a business-oriented mindset, ensuring that creative solutions drive results for clients and the agency.

RAPP's current hybrid model is designed to enable in-person connections and collaboration that is core to our culture, while also supporting flexibility for all employees. As such, we have the option to work from home two days per week, if we'd like.

This range is specific to Chicago and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to : skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
