The Work : We are looking for a Quality Analyst to support the LM Rotary & Mission Systems (RMS) programs in Syracuse, NY. The candidate will operate in a dynamic environment with cross-functional teams to help deliver solutions to complex data problems. Our focus and objectives are to utilize data to produce insights that drive business decisions and efficiency through the organization. This position will be focused on analyzing site level manufacturing data, specifically COPQ data (DPTH, Scrap, Rework), prepare summaries, report action plans to Senior Leadership, and facilitate our Monthly Corrective Action Board Activities. In this important role, the Quality Analyst's responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Supports development of quality plans and procedures in accordance with customer requirements for both make and buy items.
• Ensures the conformance to company and regulatory standards.
• Initiates, reviews, analyzes and reports on quality-related data / metrics from production, service, supplier or process improvement activities and analyzes using statistical techniques.
• Interfaces as needed with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure process requirements are met.
• Supports the development of disposition and corrective actions for recurring product / process discrepancies for both make and buy items.
• Reviews completed assembly, process, test, mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical quality records to determine data accuracy, acceptability and completeness.
• Manages the quality records control process to assure adequate accountability and traceability.
• Develops and maintains governing procedures related to records control.
• Supports product acceptance and delivery per established process.

Desired Skills : - Strong communication and presentation skills - Experience creating Tableau dashboards, SAP / ERP, and SharePoint experience - Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical / process issues varying from basic to very complex - Strong problem solving and solution development skills - Demonstrated ability to recommend sound / effective problem resolutions with clear and concise direction for efficient execution of directives -Previous experience in manufacturing and / or quality including inspection, testing, and certification of products -ISO / AS9100 knowledge - Lean / Six Sigma black (or green) belt

Pay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $60,600 - $106,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
