job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPatient Demographics : Adults only (no pediatrics) Patient Volume / Census : 20 patients per day Phone Consults : Limited to outpatient patient management Case Mix : General primary care for adult population Exam Rooms : 2 per clinician Lab / X-Ray : Quest lab and Radiology in building Practice Structure : 3 physicians (1 leaving in December), 3 APPs, 1 new APP starting in September Support Staff : 1 MA per clinician, shared nursing and front desk staff, manager on-site Reason for Coverage : Physician coverage need due to staffing changes Rate : Fixed (Daily OT after 8 hours; Weekly OT after 168 hours) Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES General primary care procedures as appropriate for adult outpatient medicine Licenses : Active Connecticut medical license required Board : Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine DEA : Active DEA Certification required Experience : Minimum 2 years of primary care experience preferred Other Qualifications : Proficiency with Epic EMR Provide outpatient primary care for adult patients Manage a daily panel of 20 patients Collaborate with other physicians and APPs in the practice Utilize 36 patient-facing hours and 4 administrative hours weekly Coordinate care with subspecialists as needed Document care accurately in Epic EMR Benefit from steady income streams and potentially higher rates, mitigating financial uncertainties and instability.
