The Endocrinology Physician will lead and provide interdisciplinary care to veterans at Central Arkansas VA, a large and complex health system. The role includes both clinical and administrative responsibilities, with a focus on enhancing the Endocrinology program while enjoying a work-life balance. Equipped with a full range of medical, surgical, and ancillary support you will provide the highest levels of interdisciplinary care. Every member of our team works towards one unified goal, to provide the best patient and family care experience possible to all those who have BRAVELY served in our Armed Forces. Join our 3 current Endocrinologists, our 2 Midlevel provider(s), and our clinical care team of over 6 support staff and together lead our Endocrinology program to new and greater heights.

Work Load :

• Monday Friday, 8 : 00am - 4 : 30pm.
• 4 days per week in clinic, starting at 8 patients per day.
• 1 day per week administrative, education, and research if interested.
• 1 / 4 shared inpatient consult service and call coverage, approximately 2-4 patients per day, with Resident and Fellow support.
• Hospitalist team covers all admission and discharge responsibilities.
• Reduced clinic loads during inpatient consult days.
